Marano Vicentino Railway Station (VI)

An exercise, between painting and sculpture, inspired by the words of Dàvid Bolf, a young artist from Santorso who recently passed away.
When man interrupts his work on the landscape, nature reclaims its space, engulfing the forms.

This work brings the forest into a temporary architecture, which shelters the painting inside as best it can. This site-specific intervention features an oil painting on scrap materials that Nero/Alessandro Neretti created in 2000 when he was a student. Establishing a temporal dialogue with Dàvid Bolf’s research, it supports his thinking and perceives his precariousness, reflecting on it twenty years later.
