Celidonia *Celandine* is a contemporary art, cinema, and music festival dedicated to landscapes, starting with the one in which it resides, taking its name from a wild plant with yellow flowers that rises among the ruins of uncultivated places, scrubland, and rubble. Known since ancient times, Chelidonium majus is among the incarnations of the bond between different species. From the Greek chelidón, meaning "swallow," due to its vegetative cycle, which is sublimated by the arrival and departure of the spring bird, celidonia appears in popular legends where swallows rub its twigs on the eyelids of newborn or sick chicks to open their vision. Like swallows, we pass the eyes of the other with these plant essences, to liberate the gaze, to live and dream of what surrounds us and with which we are in constant relationship: landscapes, of the past, present, and those to come.
The exhibitions curated by ife collective hosted at the station include RESIDERE by Mauro Campagnaro, Le divinità aprono gli occhi e creano il mattino by Stefano Caimi, Angela Grigolato, Edoardo Manzoni, and Martina Pozzan, and the site-specific installation a thought for dàvid bolf (exercise #1) by NERO/Alessandro Neretti.
Among the activities proposed during the event: Zoocore. Seeds, gestures, pathways with Giordana Mascarello from Azienda Agricola Lisiera in collaboration with Comunità Vicentina per l'Agroecologia, the lecture Il paesaggio cognitivo by Nicola Zengiaro, and the performance Roots-AV by Stefano Caimi.
