Meeting Gardens Festival * radicrille is the second edition of the traveling event in early autumn, aimed at offering alternative and possible perspectives on rurality, gardens, and orchards through artistic languages and practices. In Vicenza, from September 20-22 and October 19-20, 2024, together with the network of agricultural entities involved in the project, the concept of conviviality is explored as a crucial and necessary element for a critical redefinition of what it means to be in contact with the land and current environmental, cultural, and social issues, with the awareness that every effort toward change must be integrated and complex. Five days of practices, dialogues, artworks, workshops, and explorations to collectively engage with our territory through the intersection of artistic and agricultural practices. Each day is marked by a rich program of activities for all ages within gardens, orchards, and agricultural settings, making Meeting Gardens Festival * radicrille a widespread event promoting sustainable mobility by bicycle. This is supported by the convivial caravan of the Meeting Gardens itinerant program, guided by a cargo bike and wearable accessories that change shape and function.
Guests of Meeting Gardens alternative program and Meeting Gardens Festival * radicrille include: Laura Rositani, Lisa Mazza, Giordana Mascarello, Davide Primucci, and Jessica Canella from the Comunità Vicentina per l'Agroecologia, Chiara Spadaro, Emil Cantieri, Tulls Primultini, Falive, Luca Conte, and Fulvia Larena, Antonio Cantele, Valeria Carrieri, Gabriele Biondi, Matteo Trentin, Giulia Capraro, Valentina Fin, Francesca Migone, Elisabetta Rattalino, Nour Ouayda, Gerard Ortín Castellví, Joel Penner, and Anna Sigrithur, Rory Pilgrim, Mistura queer, Kobra Mulata, and Carlotta Novella from The School of Filò.
