This first track inaugurates a more intimate “side b” of the Di Sana Pianta series, offering the opportunity for informal conversations where one can freely wander through the content and push the reflection one step further.
Queer is fluidity, transformation, relationship, cooperation, extravagance, pleasure, complexity, interweavings, waste... an open term and a process of becoming that embraces the complexity of experiences that resist conventions, starting with those related to gender and sexuality.
The dialogue between ife collective and Federica Timeto starts from these premises to explore relationships, practices, and hierarchies highlighted by queer theory in the living system, including the ecological and non-human. It investigates how life evolves and involves according to relationships that are always intertwined, how antispeciesism can be queer, the life-giving and generative power of residues and compost, the importance of indisciplinarity and practical models of positioning and proximity in our daily actions, the significance of words and the responsibility we have in categorization and taxonomies, always and in all cases in modification.
